Every Day is Mother’s Day

This is for all my children and grandchildren. Because of you, every day is Mother’s Day for me. Ryan, when he wants me to sing the boopity song that I sang to him as a baby and Ian who giggles so hard when I do sing it, sounds of joy. Matthew who can’t wait to tell me something new and exciting that is happening and even the stuff that isn’t so fun.

Thank you Tonya, my wonderful daughter in law that always makes us welcome and cooks great food! I wish you weren’t so far away, but know that it is never too far to share what matters!

To my son Michael who shares my love of cars and has spring car fever with me every year ( and summer, fall, winter). You are a great Dad!

Audrey, who is so talented and loves to share her drawings and banners and the next new thing coming up. To hear Joey say “I love you grandma” since autism makes it hard to say. Joy, my fashionista, who loves shoes like I do and draws me great pictures to hang on the refrigerator. Tommy who runs to get in the car the minute we arrive and sits and waits until the rest of the kids are ready to get in the car too. Ben who can’t wait to “come to Grandma’s house”. Merry who grabs her coat and tells Pa to get her carseat before her Mom even has a chance to say yes she can come.

Marla, my daughter who has always known her own mind and what she wants in life; who else could be such a great Mom to six wonderful kids?

Joe who always has a smile, and is a great Dad. No one can teach me to play games that I am not good at as well as he does.

Most of all to my husband who is the best father and Pa to all our children and grandchildren, thanks for loving, supporting and helping me to be their Mom and Grandma.

There are so many gifts of love that I receive all year long from all of you, every day is Mother’s Day for me.

I love you all!!

Mom
